Roll Out of Client Project Site
February 2004, MGH rolled out its client projects web site. Authorized MGH clients have greater control of all facets of their projects from any internet access point.

Response from clients has been well received; “allowing greater access to ongoing or past projects is great!” “A few clicks of the mouse and I can see exactly what the status of the project is. I don’t have to play phone tag with anyone.”

Current Projects
We currently are designing the following projects:

Commericial Power Provisioning throughout Northern California for DLC applications.

Wireless high speed internet backbones throughout the Western States.

Large road widening & relocation EF&I projects.

Along with these key projects we have been involved in many small plant extension, regeneration sites, building entry and other fiber projects throughout the last seventeen years too numerous to mention.

If you have an interest in participating in one or more of our current projects, or would like our input on a project you are considering, please contact us.

Past to Current, Larger Fiber Projects
MGH Enterprises has been involved with Fiber Optic construction and design since our inception in 1989. For the first few years our involvement was predominately in design and construction for Pacific Bell. However, in 1994, we entered the Competitive Access Provider (CAP) and Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) markets as the prime provider of contract technical labor for Electric Lightwave in Sacramento, California. During our tenure in that position, we designed, permitted, and inspected more than 100 miles of plant expansion in the Sacramento area.

After the extensive expansion in Sacramento concluded, we moved a team to Phoenix, Arizona where once again we were the prime contract technical labor supplier for Electric Lightwave. We designed over 80 miles of subscriber fiber loops and strategic interconnects with the Salt River Project during our time in Phoenix.

In 1997 and 1998 we designed two key longhaul routes for GST Telecom. The one route from Sacramento to Modesto, California has completed construction. We have handled this project for GST from concept until completion. We have been responsible for all permitting, right of way, design, materials, bid package preparation, project management and inspection. The other project is 130 miles from San Luis Obispo to Coalinga that is fully designed and ready for interested parties to acquire.

MGH was also the primary Project Management for the San Diego to Los Angeles Fiber project for a partnership of several clients.
